Cassius said the problem is in 'ourselves', but Film Noir contradicted him, (Film Noir is a character, like Trout Fishing in America) the problem is in the stars. That was the medium, Baudrillard is the message. We're confused by the metamorphosis. Bergman made the 7th Seal, an archetypal smorgasbord, then McLuhan destroyed the archetype, using the cliche, and that film came back as an average historical drama, minus the spectacle, or a private therapy session.
